AnMed and Urgent Care Group are pleased to announce the formation of a newly established joint venture, AnMed Urgent Care, aimed at enhancing access to convenient, compassionate and cost-effective health care services in South Carolina.
AnMed Urgent Care centers will offer on-demand care from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days per week. Each location will be fully equipped with onsite X-ray imaging, lab services, COVID-19 testing, and illness and injury care.
“Partnering with Urgent Care Group will allow us to immediately improve patient access to urgent care services through expanded hours and staffing,” said AnMed CEO William Kenley. “We will soon provide more convenience to residents of Anderson County and beyond with new locations we are adding to our network.”

MEDcare Urgent Care Anderson, located at 801 N. Fant Street in Anderson, has closed and reopened as AnMed Urgent Care. This center is located across the street from the Emergency Department at AnMed Medical Center. This prime location provides convenient access for residents seeking fast, efficient and affordable care for non-emergent medical needs. The AnMed CareConnect location at 600 N. Fant Street in Anderson has relocated to 801 N. Fant Street, though AnMed Radiology and Laboratory Services continue to provide care at 600 N. Fant Street.
The AnMed CareConnect location at 885 Tiger Boulevard in Clemson will close and reopen as AnMed Urgent Care this spring, adding hours and expanding access to high-quality urgent care services for the Clemson community.
Both locations are designed to deliver patient-centered, on-demand care, offering treatment for minor injuries and illnesses, diagnostic testing, and other urgent care services.
